Last Sunday had a great example of local support for climate sustainability. It was a joint initiative of Raheny Tidy Village and Raheny Shamrock’s Green Team in holding a clothes shop swap. There was a range of clothing from every day wear, to evening and party clothes and sports gear on offer to young and old and in between. The sports hall was a most suitable venue as it allowed ample space for browsing. It was very well attended. Many left happy with some “new” gear! Well new for them. 

 

The main organisers were Tidy Village members Jill Macklin, and Alison Woods ably assisted by Shamrock’s Catherine Groves and Sarah O Neill, who were helped by other club and local volunteers Appreciation was extended to Manor House who supported the event in several ways.
