At a recent reception in GOAL’s headquarters in Dun Laoghaire, Raheny Shamrock’s long relationship with the 3rd World Charity was marked with a special plaque honouring the Club’s great contribution over the last 20 years.
Last year’s GOAL mile in St Annes raised an amazing €18,539.65 when bucket collections, online donations etc were all added together. 
Three years ago we got through the €10,000 barrier for the first time. It marks the Raheny Shamrock event among the top 6 revenue earning runs of over 200 GOAL miles nationally. Can €20,000 be breached this year ? Records are there to be broken. 
The 2025 GOAL mile encompassing that lung bursting dash down the Main Avenue takes place again on Christmas Morning. There is just the one race. It starts at 11am. Remember to bring a donation with you. Christmas is a time for giving.
