Congratulations to Brian Fay on a magnificent performance today at the World cross country championships in Tallahassee, Florida.

Fay, who was the only Irish runner in the senior men's race mixed it with the best to finish 16th overall and third European.

He has hit a rich vein of form in the last couple of months winning the National cross country title in Derry before helping Ireland win the silver medal when he finished tenth in the European Cross country championships.
